Your issue of Dividends Premium is divided into three sections. Market Commentary features the big picture from the point of view of dividend investing—so you can have a clear idea of what’s going on in the markets, why it’s happening, and how it’s important to the decisions we need to make.

The second piece is Investment Strategy. This portfolio was created in September 2018 as a broad-based portfolio of individual stocks. I review my four part strategy and key criteria for picking stocks.

I highlight two information tables: The Portfolio featuring recommended weightings and performance data, and my “Dream Buy Prices” table identifying key price points to aid your management. The “Key Points and Ground Rules” are highlighted at the end of every report.

The third piece of Dividends Premium features the two best “fresh money” buys for the month. This is also where I highlight new portfolio additions as well as the occasional subtractions.

This month, I’m selling one of our positions, a company that failed to deliver on our expectations. And the capital loss will roughly offset the gains we made on a handful of sales during calendar year 2024.
