Dividends Premium: January 2025
Companies with strong businesses will weather this politics-wracked stock market.
Dear Dividends Premium Member,
Welcome to your first issue of Dividends Premium for 2025! Expect to see the January Dividends Premium REITs by the end of next week. And please join me anytime at my Dividends Roundtable on Discord.
For those of you who are new to this service, you can access all of the previous paid content on my Substack page. And for context, I suggest taking a brief look back at the last three monthly issues of Dividends Premium and Dividends Premium REITs at your leisure.
The January issue of Dividends Premium is a bit longer than usual. The main reason is I’ve included updated analysis and advice for all 19 positions we hold in the portfolio. And I’m also taking advantage of the recent selloff in dividend paying stocks to add two new portfolio positions, as well as top off a couple others.

I highlight emerging opportunities and risks for investors this time around from the inevitable crash and burn of current politics-based strategies.
Next up is Investment Strategy. This portfolio was created in September 2018 as a broad-based portfolio of individual dividend paying stocks. I highlight my four part strategy and key criteria for picking stocks.
The Portfolio table has recommended weightings and performance data for all of the recommended stocks. And my “Dream Buy Prices” table identifies key price points to aid your management. The “Key Points and Ground Rules” are highlighted at the end of this report.
The third piece of Dividends Premium is my analysis and updated advice for all 19 current recommendations in this service. And I identify the two best “fresh money” buys for the month.
Both this month are new portfolio additions:
