Dear Dividends Premium Member,
Welcome to the November edition of Dividends Premium. This month, I focus on the micro: How our recommended companies fared with their Q3 earnings results, management’s updated guidance and my view on their prospects.
I also look at how our companies could benefit from recent election results, and especially the Federal Reserve’s continuing push to reduce benchmark interest rates.
As a Dividends Premium member, you can access all of the previous paid content in this service. And if this is your first issue, I suggest taking a look at the October issues of Dividends Premium and Dividends Premium REITs at your leisure. I’ll be posting your November issue of Dividends Premium REITs in the next 10 days. We’re also getting ready to roll out our Dividends Roundtable features, so stay tuned for more on that.
I’m making a couple of moves in the model portfolio this month. And there’s a new addition as well, a midstream energy stock yielding north of 8 percent that could wind up being a huge winner from the recent election.
Your issue of Dividends Premium is divided into three sections. Market Commentary features the big picture from the point of view of dividend investing—so you can have a clear idea of what’s going on in the markets, why it’s happening, and how it’s important to the decisions we need to make.
The second piece is Investment Strategy. This portfolio was created in September 2018 as a broad-based portfolio of individual stocks. I review my four part strategy and key criteria for picking stocks. I highlight two information tables: The Portfolio featuring recommended weightings and performance data, and my “Dream Buy Prices” table identifying key price points to aid your management. The “Key Points and Ground Rules” are highlighted at the end of every report.
The third piece of Dividends Premium features the two best “fresh money” buys for the month. This is also where I highlight new portfolio additions as well as the occasional subtractions.
